okay, yesterday was the SAJC BAND CONCERT ; SAINTS E MUZICA. clarinetists met early in the morning to prepare the farewell gifts for our seniors. supposingly to be secretive, howeever, joanna our senior spoiler lahs.. hahah kidding :D anyway, we headed to school at 11am, setted up our instrument and warm-ups. the atmosphere was different from other days. cos this time, i got to warm-up with the J2s. LOL. scary i should say cos its my first time. anyway, we then headed to VCH, for rehearsals. first was festive overture, den american in paris, den celtics folk song, J1's piece ; selections from west side story, ending off with J2's piece ; whatsoever things. time constraint. so we only managed to rehearse awhile, and den is the musical rehearsal. ran through once. funny thing happened when we were rehearsing, crosby fell down cos he didn't notice the hole at the side, but, I stupidly too , fell down with him -,- anyway, dinner time. changed and then got ready for our CONCERT :D 7.30pm :DDDD thank you LIYANA , CHERYL , RAFIDAH , GINA & WENXIN for coming to support our sajc's band concert :DDD thank you soooo much for your SUNFLOWER too. also thanks jared and junjia, my ex-classmates in 08S22, to attend too :DDD the concert was great though i don't know what happened. J1s were darn good, and i must admit that this is my first time, but i'm playing my best already. selections from westside story, simply rocks. thanks cheryl & gang for their encouraging words. :DDDD after that was the second programme; ONCE UPON A TIME. our skit was a success. dancers were rocking good. i dont know why, maybe it was becos of me :DD hahaha we didn't screw up at least. lol. many people complimented that the concert was great. and it was truly appreciated :DDD everything ended late, and packed up and go back to school. then there was dedication video done by our J2s. haha. photo-taking sessions. it was very late by then. 12am. )x my dad gave me harsh scolding, i missed the last train, the last bus. no money, so borrowed from my section-mate. took cab and reached home at about 12.30am. why did the school shifted ?!!! if its still around pasir panjang, i think reaching home its just within my reach lahs. nevermind, parents doesn't seem to understand. anyway, i want to really thank the clarinet section seniors for helping us really alot. and also my section-mates, who assisted. this would be memorable. next year, POLY BAND here i come :DD hopefully. &SAJC CONCERT BAND ROCKS BIG BANG. |
